Despite the tremendous financial aid that America renders to Pakistan, recently anti-American sentiments have ripened in this country — Pakistani, who assisted the CIA during the search and discovery of the “terrorist #1” have been arrested for one. The USA are obviously “losing” Pakistan, but the very fact that this country may join the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) any moment make the regional situation critical for the United States. Add the scheduled withdrawal of the U.S. and allied troops from Afghanistan (which also drifts towards the SCO) here and the change of regional balance of powers becomes apparent. Simultaneously, the inveterate issue of the Indian-Pakistani stand is being settled — India also has all the chances to become an SCO member.

WAR IN LIBYA: THE USA IS STRIKING CHINA WITH ITS FRENCH PROXY?
WAR IN LIBYA: THE USA IS STRIKING CHINA WITH ITS FRENCH PROXY?
Mass-media promotion of French role in a Libyan conflict may happen to be a dangerous and faulty game. Experts believe that Sarkozy acted as an American puppet, which used France as their cat’s paw. Primary U.S. goal in support of the Libyan military conflict is their wish to hinder Chinese involvement into the economics of an African continent. Washington tries to prevent further Chinese development, using its military and strategic advantage and restraining Chinese access to the natural and energetic resources of the region: Beijing invested loads of money into energetic complex of Cyrenaica, reckoning to use these sources for their energetic needs.
Here’s a full text of the French report regarding Libya, posted at the request of our dear readers

What Turkey aggravates its relations with Israel for?
Having chosen the reinforcement of its influence in the Arab world as the strategic goal, Turkish Republic logically started to actively support Palestine, countering Israel. This is a true path for gaining love of Arab streets and respect of Arab leaders. Wealthy Middle-Eastern monarchies are ready to accept Turkey as a mediator of a dialogue between the West and East in exchange for liberating them from a role of a buffer, staying under constant pressure from both sides.

Erdoğan’s “New Deal”. Part II
At the global arena contemporary Turkey fetched itself in an “enemy within” kind of situation. Being integrated into the NATO Euro-Atlantic structures, this showcase of a secular Islamic state failed to overcome the alienation of its allies, simultaneously losing influence in its traditional environment — the Islamic world. Erdoğan’s “New Deal” is intended to drastically change this situation and turn Turkey not only into the most influential power in the Middle East, but also into the bearer of the Western influence in Islamic world — so vital for the USA and the Euro-Union.

POLITICAL CRISIS IN LATVIA: WILL THE SPLIT OF ESTABLISHMENT LEAD TO A COLLAPSE OF ETHNOCRACY?
Latvian analysts believe that political crisis in Latvia gives the Consent Center a chance to get the majority of Seim seats and enter the ruling coalition. Such outcome of elections might have led to the solution of a painful issue of political rights of “non-citizens”.
“Things that happen in Latvia after the dismissal of Seim may be compared to an effect of a brick, thrown into the anthill. Complete mess, no one understands what to do”. These are the words of a political engineer Erik Stendzenieks describe the situation in this Baltic State quite accurately. Let me remind you that in the beginning of June Latvian Seim elected Andris Bērziņš as the new President — he’s a businessman that has almost no political experience but features the support of local business elites.

ERDOĞAN’S NEW DEAL. Part I
Analysts assume that Erdoğan is willing to change the very state system of Turkey, although their imagination can’t stretch further than that statement. In fact Erdoğan’s space for maneuver is not that vast. He won’t be able to make the country turn for an Iranian-like theocratic state. Therefore, we’re rather talking about some skin-deep changes, the main purpose of which is erasing the period of boundless military rule from the memory of Turks. After all, the effective Basic Law of Turkey was written exactly by the military.
